Dr Foo See Liang is a Practice Associate Professor of Accounting with Singapore Management University (SMU), School of Accountancy. Prior to joining SMU in Aug 2008, Dr Foo taught at the Nanyang Business School (NBS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Dr Foo has extensive working, consulting and teaching experiences in corporate governance, risk management and assurance. He is presently a Member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAS) and used to serve as Co-Chair in the Board of Directors, as well as Chairman of the Audit Committee of a listed company. A Chartered Accountant by training.
Dr Foo is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (UK) and the ICPAS. He holds a B. Com from the University of New South Wales (Australia) and a PhD (Accountancy) from the University of Hull (UK).
