Research Associate, Policy Alternatives Research Institute, the University of Tokyo. Major field of research: IP management strategy and Standardization strategy, and Global IP specialists training

 

IAM Strategy 300 – The World’s Leading IP Strategists (Intellectual Asset Management) in 2015/2016, Member of Strategic Task Force Leader training course at the University of Tokyo since 2014, as well as tutor of IP training courses at JPO between 2014 and 2016 and various committee member of government policy groups.

 

Various domestic and overseas presentation including, 2015 Mar: International Symposium on IP Management at Zhejiang University (China, Hangzhou);2014 Sep: Keynote Speaker at IP Week 2014 in Singapore and 2013 Jul: SEMI West "Global IP Summit, The Road Ahead"

(San Francisco).

Before joining the university of Tokyo, he was active in the Panasonic IP center, where he was responsible for international IP negotiations as CLS(chief licensing specialist). Between 2007 and 2011, he was Managing Director of Sisvel Japan, a subsidiary of an Italian IP management company, where he led various patent pools and joint licensing programs. Since 2012 he has been the Research Associate of the University of Tokyo.
